	Candy Sugar is a confection made from a concentrated solution of sugarcane sugar in water. Though used as a substitute for sugar, throughout South and South East Asia sugar candy is used to prepare preserves and chikkis, a type of candy containing nuts such as pistachios, almonds and cashews. In South India Sugar Candy is considered auspicious and is eaten on important occcasions such as at religious festivals and is offered to deities in Hindu temples. Available also in 1Kg pack.
