Jalpur Ondhwa Flour is freshly milled from 100% Chana Dall & Rice to prepare Ondhwa. Indgredients: Chana dall (Yellow Gram), Rice & Turmeric Powder. Method: 1) Mix Jalpur Ondhwa Flour with salt, turmeric powder, water and yoghurt and leave to ferment overnight. 2) Add white pumpkin, green chilli and ginger paste, coriander, oil, lemon juice, chilli powder, sugar, Sod-bi-Carbonate and to batter and mix well. 3) Pour this batter into greased tin or a thali. 4) For the tempering, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, Ajwan, Cloves, Cinnamon and asofoetida. Then add sesame seeds and fry them until they are brown. Then pour this over the batter. 5) Bake in a preheated oven at 200°c for 30-40 mins until the crust is golden brown. |
